Nana Fannys Street Food Deli is based within Londonâ€™s finest and most prestigious food market, Borough Market, SE1, which has been in existence for over 1000 years.
We are a family run Street Food Stall serving amazing Jewish Deli Classics.
Salt Beef from a 4th generation, 1944 family recipe, Vegan Falafels, both of which have been featured in Londonâ€™s Evening Standard and Time Out magazine. Potato Latkes, Middle Eastern inspired salads, Fish goujons, Chicken Schnitzels all appear on our Deli led menu and are prepared fresh every day. The majority of our ingredients are sourced right here from the market.
Role:- Full training will be given enabling you to setup the market stall, prepare & cook all menu items ready for service whilst maintaining our 5* rated hygiene standards, cash handling, customer interaction & service, clean and pack down the stall at the end of the day before finally returning items to our onsite storage. This is a customer facing role NOT kitchen based.
Requirements: - Working within the street food industry is a lot of fun in an amazing environment, however itâ€™s very fast paced!! and can be physical. You MUST speak fluent English with perfect understanding (this is essential), be reliable with good time keeping, work well under pressure, enjoy public interaction, have a great appearance, the ability to be on your feet all day, great communication skills and enjoy working outside in all weathers. Some Catering, Chef, Kitchen and knife skills and experience is needed to a basic level but overall, enthusiasm is key.
For the Managers role, an ability and previous track record enabling you to oversee all of the above daily operations plus maintain high standards, increase sales, manage H&S, maintain our 5* rating, rotas, stock control, cost of sales. Motivation & enthusiasm should be your go to leadership tool. (We arenâ€™t looking for a Gordon Ramsey)
What we offer: - Manager - Â£31200 pa PLUS bonus (after probation period). Customer servers and team members - Â£10.55 per hour.
